Conference “Politik und Religion” on 24th – 25th April 2015 in Nuremberg.

How public and political can and should religion be? What is its purpose in the context of secular civil society and politics? How can religion responsibly shape the open space of a liberal-democratic  constitution? Having these and other general questions in mind, the conference focusses on the concrete situation in Nuremberg. With different religious communities being involved, challenges, opportunities and chances of partnerships in religion, politics and urban society are illuminated.
